I've seen this one before, didn't do it. Just now got it from [livejournal.com profile] doco:
  1. Grab the nearest book.
  2. Open the book to page 23.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal...along with these instructions.
But first you should understand the underlying structure and how it is affected by movement.

Be thankful you didn't have a book like William Horwood's Wolves of Time (read my journal to find out the fifth sentence of the 23rd page for it ... yes, the book has several harsh scenes like that, but it is an excellent book in my opinion but the harsh scenes like that might not be to your taste).

Saw that. I've liked Horwood's other books, but haven't seen that one. I might be able to stand it. :)

But I kinda don't understand the point of quoting a random sentence from a book. Asking what the nearest book is, or what you are reading, that I understand.
