So, in the end I made a salad with pasta in it and a dressing of mayonnaise with chipotle taco seasoning to take to the pot luck. Most of it got eaten, so I guess it was a success. Turnout was low, probably in part due to the weather.

It's snowing again at the moment, An hour ago it was sleet, and the forecast calls for an inch of accumulation. Freezing rain is predicted for areas south and east of us. Nice.

Supper was butternut squash soup with curry and a dab of sour cream (made by Gary) and boneless chicken breast and mashed potatoes made by me. Woodstove is going and I'm still feeling chilly, even wedged here between two computers that are running SETI@Home full time and making a fair amount of heat.

Found a tiny platy still alive in the big community tank were we thought they had all been eaten nearly a month ago.
