altivo: The Clydesdale Librarian (Default)
I let Gary talk me into going to Amy and Friends at Amy and Ray Beth's house in Woodstock. I wasn't sure I could stay awake through the whole evening, but the music was good enough to take care of that. Makes for a long day, though. (We just got home, and I left here at 8:30 this morning. I'm too old for this stuff.)

It was raining cats and dogs or maybe foxes and wolves in Harvard when the library closed. Fortunately it had mostly let up by the time I met Gary at a restaurant in Woodstock. I got pretty wet just getting to my car but by the time we'd had dinner I was mostly dry. Fortunately I'd had the good sense to take a drop spindle and some wool with me in the morning, so I got some work done while listening to the music.

Slowish drive home because it's still dripping and now fog is forming each time the road dips down into a vale. I was worried about deer but only saw a possum, and that was in time to slow down while he skittered out of my way.

Now bed time.
