Weaving completed
Jun. 1st, 2010 10:22 pmThe "green bag" is woven. Needs washing and finishing work, but it's off the loom. As soon as it's photo-acceptable, I or
argos will have a photo.
Weather continues weird, like the stock market. Ups and downs, roller coasters, lots of cold showers, occasional sun. This is not normal June weather, though certainly I remember colder starts to the month. This morning we had dense fog on this side of the ridge, but it was clear and sunny on the other side.
Gary's birthday is coming up, and I think I have it under control. Or will when the remaining package arrives. It has been shipped and is trackable at the moment, and should easily get here before the 16th.
Got the details of the Conservation District's "Cache Your Way Across McHenry County" program today. They have placed 15 geocaches, waymarks, and ecocaches in forest preserves and provided a question to be answered by each. Answer forms turned in by September will receive a "special prize" and be entered in a drawing for a free camping weekend for up to 25 people (Just an intimate little party... ;p) in one of the parks that has campsites. Seems worth a try, and provides an excuse to visit some areas I haven't yet seen.
Bedtime now...
