Spent much of the day finishing up our kitchen remake. I declare it a success. Not only have the tempting canisters filled with flour, rice, oats, and breadcrumbs disappeared from view, but we've recovered useful counter space and cleaned out some cabinets full of never used utensils. Red took it in stride, but I think I detected a disappointed glint in his eye. ;p
Made slow baked meatloaf, mashed taters, Harvard beets, and salad for dinner. This was also a success, but that's no big surprise, really.
It's bitter cold out. Clear enough to see the stars for a change, but cold enough to inhibit any desire to go out and look. I did go out to the spinning guild meeting this morning, but did not go anywhere else today. Now that the kitchen thing is completed, I hope to start on the loom in the morning.
