Snow? What snow?
Feb. 17th, 2011 08:37 pmNow you see it, and now you don't. It's almost all gone. We have mud instead. I have to give the old ground hog credit this year. "Two weeks" he said. And two more weeks was exactly right.
Not that mud is that hospitable a replacement for two feet of snow, but it's somewhat more passable. And the temperature has certainly improved. All the snow has melted from the roofs, so ice dams, potential leaks, and exterior floods are eliminated as worries, at least for the present. The next possibility of snow presents itself on Sunday night, I think, but the chance of it being very significant is small.
Not a very productive day, but Thursday rarely is. I don't spend enough hours at work to get much done, and then I come home and there's not enough of the day left to do anything with either. At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
