Done: second show in two months is up

Gallery show in Woodstock is now hanging. (Old Courthouse Arts Center, 101 N. Johnson St. on the Square, October 6 – 30. Thu – Sat 11 am – 5 pm, Sun 1 &ndash 5 pm) Show opens on Thursday at 11 am. Free admission, if you're in the area come see us.



Above is a close-up view of the spinning guild challenge submissions. These scarves were all made entirely from yarn spun with hand spindles. My scarf, about which you've seen me complaining for some time, was completed in time and is the rainbow colored lacy one at center.

Here is the new snow leopard I've mentioned. He is a 15-inch sitting snow leopard from Wild Republic, but not a "Cuddlekins."



Very dignified, don't you think? Much above cuddling and all that, but handsome nonetheless. I'm going to take him to work and let him serve a shift as my windowsill plush, giving the two okapi that have been there much of the summer some time off.

Sunset is suddenly coming very early, by around 6:30, and it gets dark quickly, even though we're still on [ridiculous] daylight saving time until November. I hope to get some sleep tonight. No more deadlines for a while, so no need to be up late at night.
