Actually, if you wanna come get 'em, there are still six left. I'd give you the recipe but it was a mix.

My sister-in-law sent us a gift at Christmas from King Arthur Flour. Sort of like the Harry and David Fruit of the Month thing, only they've been sending us boxes with scone mix and maple syrup and jam and so forth each month. Last month's box included a maple walnut muffin mix, and this morning I decided to make it. The thing about King Arthur mixes is they are both kind pricey and they require more stuff to be added than ordinary grocery store mix. This needed three large eggs, a cup of milk, and a quarter pound of butter. But it made a dozen tall muffins just loaded with maple and walnut flavor.

Either one. I'm sure some people can tell the difference but I can't. Both should have the little (tm) after them anyway, which in their case means "terrible muck". ;P

Too late, I divided that one between the dogs. Probably wasted on them, though, because they hardly have the discriminating taste of a cat. Dogs will eat anything.
