Take the first sentence (or 2) from the first post of each month of 2006. That's your year in review.
January 2006: In honor of the new year, as a first post-- [comment statistics to date]
February 2006: Well, I didn't expect such definitive results, but... [meme defines me as "otherkin"]
March 2006: You passed 8th grade science [starts to look like I do nothing but memes on the first of the month]
April 2006: Nope, not a Poisson d'Avril joke. [introducing The Clydesdale Librarian website]
May 2006: Tess was still standing and walking funny this morning, and reluctant to move very far, so we called in the vet.
June 2006: And you thought sheep were just innocuous fluff balls, didn't you?
July 2006: As I noted yesterday, fuel prices here were jumped on Wednesday, again Thursday, and again Friday. Well, they just jumped again, another 6 cents per gallon.
August 2006: The judgement seat... is also a hot seat, at least in this kind of weather. [On judging at the county fair]
September 2006: The new 2007 Escape measures up to my expectations so far.
October 2006: Rattle...Clack!...Rattle...Clack! [sound of loom working, yeah, I'm not quite done, but almost.]
November 2006: Since I'm still at work and can't start on Nanowrimo until I get home...
December 2006: Well, it's interesting. Apparently we are in an island of relative calm surrounded by much heavier weather.
Above freezing all day but nowhere near the predicted 50F. In fact, I see they've cut back the predictions for the next few days from 50s to high 30s. That will do, though. Should melt off most of this stuff before the next blast arrives.
Oh, and for those of you who are interested in recycling and renewable resources, I'm pleased to present:
