Not! Whoever said that never had a lion come in them. The one I tried was murr.... (I did warn you didn't I?)

Today we had a severe thunderstorm watch, but no thunderstorm. Tonight we're supposed to get an inch of snow (they say.)

The lion left at least 9 inches of snow here so far and the radar shows more on the way. We might get "only" 11 inches total rather than the full 18. The roar is not, or will not be, that of the lion, but of the snowblower.

Good to hear that you guys didn't get too much out of it. We had 5 people killed in the lower portion of the state in one town where at one point 5 tornados were believed to have touch down. It's a little too near my grandmother...

This reminds me of a card I saw, part of a series actually:

"OI JEFF...THAT'S OUR LUNCH!!!"

Now if only I could find the image...

Heh. You can tell that was in the 70s. Today the post awful would reject it as pornographic.

So it doesn't always miss you. We have the roar of the snowplows passing at the moment, though I think there was only about an inch. It's hard to tell because there was a lot of wind last night and it has drifted something fierce.

Thunderstorms are pretty sexy, I must admit. I've been out in my share of the most violent and impressive ones.

But my envy was more of having the much more unique experience of such contact of the large predatory feline kind. ;)

ROWR! Yah he is the sexy cutie ain't he! For some reason that's always been my favorite NatLamp cover.

NatLamp was the rudest non-PC mag around in the 70's. Great stuff! Bobby London's Dirty Duck and Shary Flennikens "Trots and Bonnie" were what really turned me on to underground comics. You can see some of my favorite covers here...

And check out Flenniken's stuff here, she's the bomb!

*sigh* I have been remiss in scanning and posting some of my better comics. Shame on me!

Just FurryMUCK play. But the lion is a sweetheart and I've since met him in person. :)

Thank ye for the link.

It's been a long time since I've seen Timberland Tales.

National Lampoon was awesome.
