Ply, ply, ply the yarn...

Seems like I've been plying all day, even though I did work 8 hours (and spun on my break). This morning two different colored wools from my own sheep, and a skein of mixed wool and mohair in nice subtle shades of gray with little red highlights. Tonight it was a rather garish dyed cotton in indigo and pinks called "Berry Patch." Actually, after it's spun and plied the colors start to blend more and give little flecks of color instead of huge patches.

No cicadas yet, though it was hot and humid all day. Rained this morning but just briefly.

Now to bed, I think.
