quickcasey and rrwolf at the Illinois Railway Museum this afternoon where we walked our feet off visiting every car barn before actually getting on a train. It was fascinating fun, though, and when we did finally make it onto the trains, Blue_Heeler was the conductor on the Diesel passenger train. After the last run he gave us a tour of the control tower and we all adjourned to Marengo for dinner. It was a busy day but quite nice, and the weather cooperated as well. Partly cloudy, but no real rain and not too hot.
A long day, too, however, and I'm about done in. I'll see how far I get reading before I fall asleep.
