Poor Tess...

Three days she's been in the indoor arena because of rain. She's going to be real antsy to get outside again, and more rain is expected tomorrow. It's a problematic thing. Walking in wet grass and even mud is good for her feet, but eating wet grass is bad for her.

Not the most productive of days for the rest of us either, but too late to do much more about that. And there's the thunder again...

Yes, that's just what she does, too. It makes me feel terrible. And when I go in and stand with her, she comes up close and licks me as if she were a dog, and looks at me with sad eyes. Of course if I give her extra hay then she loses interest in me immediately. ;p

Thanks. I had no idea anyone was that interested. I'd have thought an ordinary cup of coffee would be sufficient to distract my audience. ;p

Ahh they know just how to tug at the heartstrings and get more food.
