Another busy day

Gary is reassembling his computer, plugging in all the peripherals, etc. as I write this. Hopefully it's working again the way he wants it.

Sat in on his afternoon rehearsal, which was fortunate, as it turns out. They are practicing music for a wedding reception in a couple of weeks, and the fiddle/banjo player is out of town this week. So I got to play the lead for them on a number of selections. This does not, however, mean that my resistance to live performances has worn down.

Just about done with that linen, may finish yet tonight, thank goodness. Good weather today, Tess was happy, and so, I think, was everyone else.

Heh. I do have a fiddle and can play a little but wouldn't let anyone else hear it. No, I was playing flute with the group today. I've played the flute for nearly 50 years and am reasonably good for an amateur.
