Got through it. Close call the last couple of hours though.

The Valentine's present I had ordered for Gary that should have been here last week still hasn't arrived. I think our postal deliveries have been badly disrupted by all the snow lately. Oh well, it will arrive eventually I guess.

He had supper ready when I got home, as usual. It was experimental stuff, as he puts it, but no complaint from me. The sweet and sour cabbage soup was excellent. The asparagus quiche with swiss cheese was very tasty too. And there are lots of leftovers, yay.

More snow forecast for tomorrow. Now bed. Oh, the shipping/tracking information for the Argos fursuit fur came. Twenty pounds of fur fabric! What was I thinking? Well, it's going to be beautiful, that's all. Time to hunt down the glass eyes and teeth I think.

whatever happened to the postman's oath? you know, something about nor snow, nor sleet, nor dark of night shall keep a postman from his route, or something like that?

Happy Valentine's day Tivo.

I wanted to tell you something. I went looking back through my journal and noticed who has been with me for this long. You have been the top commenter on my journal and you've been there since almost the beginning. While every once in a while you said something that really bothered me or occasionally got under my skin, you were usually very sweet and supportive. I also saw that I in certain states of mine I was very reactive and looking back on it now, I can see that. Sometimes I think my feelings were justified, but I did tend to overreact.

Sadly, you don't comment as much as you use to and I wish you did. I know you think your efforts are futile trying to encourage me and argue with me, but truth be told I wish you still tried. I miss that. I miss you just being there trying to act as a positive force. *cuddles the plushie*

Of course, I'm totally behind on things. I didn't know you were making a fursuit for your Argos character. I hope that goes well. You are very passionate about your creation, I can tell.

Anyway, thanks for sticking around this long. I am very thankful you have. I just thought I should let you know. *kisses your nose*

*hugs and nuzzles back*

I'm glad you looked back and got a different perspective. Yes, I've been more quiet because it began to seem as if no matter what I said, you could manage to be insulted by it or else launched into a political or religious diatribe. When the subject was neutral enough so that I felt safe in saying something, then I have done so.

Yes, I plan to give life to Argos in time for this year's MFF. It's a big project though, and I really need to finish off the book too. It has at least seven or eight chapters to go. If you didn't read my little short story "A Change of Pace" that I posted about a week back, I'm pretty sure you would like it. Very short and very open to interpretation. It's at www.furrag.com.

Thats the one thing I left out of my V day post, the
gifts. I got her a card and a little plushie (she
likes those) and she got me a huge book from B&N
about Architecture and chocolates (I likes those @.@).

I thought of getting her one of those bears they
were advertising ad nasaeum on TV but those never
arrive on time. However, its okay if something
doesn't show up when you want, it just makes the
anticipation stronger and the sentiment better.

Real men don't eat quiche you know.

I'll tell you my first time having it and
how I recovered my manhood some other time. ^_^

*snerk* I'll bet you make a damned good quiche when you want to, and I'd never accuse you of not being a "real man" whatever that is.

I'll post about his Vday present to me when I get a photo of it, it's an adorable tiny Clydesdale plushie, just six or seven inches tall. I had a bigger one that he'd forgotten, just the right size to be its mommy, and the two of them are superb standing together.

No, probably not. I'm afraid we eat too much, but at least we do eat a balanced diet.
