Steamy in fact. But it's supposed to rain and thunder later. Got more stuff planted in the garden today. Got more hay delivered. Paid the bill. Ouch. But it could be worse. Now up to 465 bales total on hand. We'll need at least two more loads beyond this, possibly three.

Made rhubarb & black raspberry pie. Hope I put enough sugar in, we haven't tried it yet.

Now it's bedtime...[yawn]

I really wish that the weather here would chose an action and stick with it. It's so annoying when it's muggy, then it rains, and then the sun comes out but the humidity doesn't go away. Instant oven. :(

The weather sounds a bit heavy and oppressive, but I hope the rain later is nice and cools everything down nicely. :)

Nothing like snuggling up to the one you love and listen to the rain and thunder. While eating... PIE!

Pie pie pie pie pie. Mmmmm. Pie. Mmmmm... Pie...
Now, I shall not tell a lie, but I am envious, as I have no pie. :P

*nuzzles and hugs*

Pie? o.O

That's the nature of the deep south. Actually, anywhere in the middle of the continent is the same, even all the way up to the Dakotas.

Alas, in spite of the predictions, no rain and no thunder last night. As for the snuggling, he's been sleeping on the floor because his back is bothering him. Of course, if he'd stop being stubborn and ease up so it can heal, the way the doctor told him to, it would help.

The pie was good. There's still lots left if you can eat it without discomfort. ;D

Oh, she'd nod all right. She approves of hay for sure, and now there's another wagon load sitting right outside her stall to tantalize her. The big wagon again, 165 more bales of sweet smelling stuff. Fortunately out of reach, though I'm sure she doesn't think that fortunate.

Once we filled the empty stall next to her with surplus hay. She managed to reach over the partition and pull an entire 40 pound bale into her stall. Thank goodness hay almost never causes founder...
