Galleried out
Oct. 5th, 2009 09:33 pmShow is up, though. I spent over five hours on my feet working the gallery setup today, without any break. I know, some do that regularly, but I don't. I'm tired. My feet hurt.
But it's all in place. Weaving is judged tomorrow, sneak preview for guild members is Wednesday, and open to the public on Thursday. I thought I was done with deadlines for the month, but no, I forgot that the spinning guild newsletter had to go up today. Got that done too. Now I really am done with deadlines I think, for the rest of the month.
My personal results in spinning were three firsts (silk singles, linen plied, wool blends plied) and three thirds (cotton plied, wool plied, wool blends plied.) I really don't expect anything from the weavers portion because, as I've said, I make stuff to be used and the judges are usually looking for high fashion that someone might wear a couple of times and that would be it.
Now I can think about the Nano and what I'm going to do with that.
