I normally get little puncture wounds all over my hands and blisters on my fingers from picking up bales by the strings, but no problems elsewhere. Heavy gloves interfere too much with the dexterity and sensation I need in my hands to do much of any work.

This time Gary handed me a pair of those fuzzy yellow work gloves, and I thought they would never do, but they are more flexible or something as compared to leather or the usual heavy canvas. He has so many different pairs of gloves stashed all over the place that there's never a shortage.
