I'm enjoying this story in spite of your troubles with Ulf (at least I understood his name though admittedly I thought of the group). But then, we haven't been exposed to much of Ulf yet...

No, he wouldn't recognize the physical object as anything. (Francis would, though.) And Hammel apparently didn't know any Greek until Fennec explained the letters "AHP" to him. But it's apparent that his hypermemory wasn't as well trained at this point as it was by the time of The Argosiad. ;D

Hee. I am simply incorrigible when it comes to punning. And no, you haven't seen Ulf's journal yet, because I can't stand writing it. I have only two complete entries so far.
