Left the gallery at about 12:45 pm today, all items for both the spinners and the weavers shows were arranged and labeled for display. Spinning was already judged yesterday, weaving categories were to be judged this afternoon and evening. In spinning I appear to have received first in plied wool (I know that's two years in a row. Might be three, but I think the other first was four years ago so there's a gap.) A cotton skein got a third, but I didn't see all the other results. I may have received one or two other awards, but possibly not, as I know this judge and I disagree about a number of issues.

I don't expect much from the weavers. They choose "high fashion" judges and my weaving simply isn't the sort of thing that catches their eye. In any case, the show includes over 170 different items, and all of them are interesting if not always appealing to me. There will be official photos eventually, and I'll link to some or all of them.

Came home, had some lunch, and passed out for a couple of hours. I didn't realize I was so overworked, but apparently so. Made dinner while Gary was at his choir practice (chicken and rice soup with broccoli and wild mushrooms, and home made biscuits.) Fed the dog, double checked tomorrow's schedule, and I'm ready to pass out again.

Well I wouldn't be worried that you aren't "High Fashion" as those things are usually unwearable.

That sounds like lovely food too, I'm in a similar physical state after starting Gym again, I woke up today, showered and breakfasted and then went back to bed till 12 O.O
