Day out

Mostly. Grocery shopping, then to Crystal Lake for some more shopping and to pick up Rob at the Pingree Rd. station since no suitable outbound trains were coming to Woodstock. Then back home to take care of critters for the evening, and off to Belvidere for the Conservation District Christmas walk. They do up their historic log cabins and gardens with holiday decorations and have music, crafts, and refreshments in the nature center. Gary and Rob were the music. I didn't go out touring gardens in the cold but sat and listened. Back home to feed Rob before putting him on a Chicago bound train in Woodstock at 9:48. Enough.

Tomorrow I plan to stay home. Forecast is up to two inches of snow Sunday night. We shall see.

It's prettier to walk in the snow. We finally had a couple of inches last night: tempered by the hellacious rains yesterday morning, it annealed itself to the car windows overnight.

I got to change out a flat tire in it today :o) On the bright side, it went flat here at home and not in Attleboro during the storm (half hour away).
