Short days don't bother me, I find them rather romantic in fact. Winter brings us different birds to watch, different clouds, and some nice peace and quiet. A chance to sit by the warm stove with tea or wine, time to write more and read more. A time to dream, and plan ahead or reminisce about the past. Time to rewind, just as nature is doing outdoors.
