Still cold and knitty

Not as cold as last night, at least for the moment.

Spinning guild newsletter completed. The 50 mile challenge is up to 11.41 miles spun in the first three months. At this rate, we'll get past 45 miles in twelve months, but not quite to 50, so I'm still pushing people. Most are not turning in their figures yet.

The lace-knitting is starting to make sense. Eventually you get the feel of the pattern and don't need to look at those cryptic little abbreviations any more.

Back to work was, well, not so much fun after two real short and quiet weeks.

And that's the news from the frozen wasteland.

We were overwhelmed with interlibrary loan items and returns today. I spent an hour trying to get sand and salt out of the rugs tonight and finally left at ten with a few areas partially done. Busy Monday.

Ick. The interlibrary loan won't hit until today, though we sent out a double load yesterday.

I hate how my local library catalogue doesn't have an easy feature to only select the library I'm in, instead it shows all libraries in the Moreton region.

Are you sure? I'll bet they do have it, and just called it something dumb, like "scope" or "location."
