Day survived, gotta go to bed so I can survive another one tomorrow.

Any idea what the fault is?

We use a cell phone modem for internet connectivity here. It's the only viable option other than landline dialup at 32Kb.

They are rolling out 4GS into our area where we have only had 3GS until now. The 4GS connection is marginal, but the modem prefers it, so it will grab the 4GS signal and then lose it, dropping the line. At least I think that's what happens. Sometimes it goes all day without problems, other times it pops on and off a dozen times in an hour.
