Struggling with a story edit, and then trying to get it uploaded in a manner that keeps the formatting intact. There is absolutely no excuse for this to be so difficult, yet it is.

Freezing fog and hoarfrost continues. No telling what things will look like come morning. ;p

Now, though, it's bedtime.

There were so many times when I had so much to write about, I couldn't even stop. Then, this past year, I got this incredible writers block. It seemed like I couldn't write about ANYTHING at all and I had no idea what was happening or what went wrong. I mean, yeah, 2009 was a bad year for me with so many little things going wrong among a few big things like the death of my grandmother and the death of my friend Bruce.

At the same time, I just could NOT figure out for the life of me where my writing ability had gone off to. One year I can't get rid of it and the next year I can't even FIND it. One year I can't shut up and the next year I come to the keyboard and nothing seems to come out whatsoever. I had been through so much but then I came to the keyboard and for love or money, NOTHING happened. Nothing seemed to want to flow though my fingers at all.

It was just really strange, and kind of disconcerting too.

Writers' block can hit anyone any time I guess. I've never really had it badly, but lots of people do get it. The advice I usually see is to take some time off and walk away from it, or start another project entirely for a while.

You had a lot of stress at once, which doesn't help. Stress is never good, it ties everything up in knots.

I can help by annoying you for food till your train of thought is altered and then you can approach it from a different angle :D

Just like a cat to call that "helping." like the one we have here who "helps" you to sleep by lying on your face or sticking her paw in your mouth or ear.
