Snow melting rapidly as temperature rises. Hopefully we have taken enough precautions to manage the runoff without floods as last year. It should be all right unless we get heavy rain on top of the snow.

Today the roof of the sheep shelter caved in. It's just a three sided box made of plywood, and had been showing major deterioration. No sheep were injured, but they all stood around complaining indignantly about it for a while.

Treated Gary to lunch in Crystal Lake, and did a little shopping there. Browsed art supplies at Hobby Lobby but decided their prices were too high. Got some office supply type stuff at Sam's Club, browsed another hobby shop we hadn't been in before. They had a lot of Gund plushies, but none larger than a bread box. (Or a loaf of bread, actually.) Spent little overall, but got some amusement out of it.

Did some shakedown tests on the relocated FurRag system, with no serious issues. Coming along as expected, should be back up and running in a day or two.

And that's most of the news from Lake Snowmelt, where the cats are strong, the dogs are good looking, and the horses are above average, each and every one. ;p

I'm not surprised the sheep bleated about their predicament.

Cats are strong? Dogs are good looking? and the Horses are above average?

I think your brain might be melting there ;)
