That fence is getting to be decrepit. I know the whole thing needs redoing. In fact I have alternatives under consideration. We have been here for 21 years. The fence was old when we bought the place. So was the tree. In fact it was already dead and had been topped at about twelve feet with all branches removed. About 18 inch diameter, solid oak, probably weighed a ton.
