What am I doing here?
Mar. 30th, 2004 07:19 pmI should be used to asking this question of myself, I seem to have been asking it for most of my life. I have followed journals written by a couple of friends in recent months, but kept telling myself that no one really would be interested in anything I might have to say.
This morning I decided maybe it was worth the experiment, just to see if any reactions are forthcoming. After all, what's to lose? Maybe I can learn something.
So here I am, somewhere a little past mid-life probably, not undergoing any particular crisis (had those long ago) and not particularly dissatisfied. But for all the education and reading I have, and all the experiences I've been through, I often still feel pretty naive and clueless. ('Tivo holds up a sheaf of references, some of which even complain about his 'innocence'.)
My intention here, though, is to focus particularly on issues related to 'furriness' and 'fur-dom' as I see it, rather than running the entire story of my life past every reader. More specific remarks are in preparation. Stay tuned, if you aren't already bored to tears. :)
