Heh. After saying I don't see that many films, here I am recommending another. Hidalgo. If you like smart horses, especially paint horses, see it. The horse upstages the human star repeatedly and with a clear understanding of what he is doing. Based on real events, interestingly enough.

Rating:
Five apples.

P.S. After writing this I learned that, despite the claims of the Hollywood production team, dozens of historians have examined Frank T. Hopkins' stories and found them to be complete fabrications. Not only is there no evidence that he was ever in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, there is no historic evidence that the 3000 mile endurance race "that was run every year for centuries" ever existed. Still, it's a great story and a great movie, and the horses are beautiful.

I have no problem believing that horses that star in movies are probably smarter than most human actors!
