What's scary is that I think my MP3 archive actually contains a rewrite of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' that leaves him very much gay. 'Rudolph the Red-Tooled Reindeer' I believe it's called. Silly. Almost sillier than spending effort making laws for and against flying reindeer. We all know they fly so fast they can never be caught anyway. ;)

Oh, but they are. Every Christmas, they show the radar images on television of the reindeer coming in over the DEW line up in Canada.

Of course, all this Santa Claus stuff is entirely pagan and has nothing to do with the Bible, so it should be outlawed. Maybe they'll make a constitutional amendment now to put a stop to it entirely.

That's funny, though also a great example of people taking themselves way too seriously. There are just too many institutions in western culture that take themselves too seriously - aviation is a serious business, to be sure, but the exception for Santa wasn't hurting any concievable "serious" daily operation.

Stamp out whimsy! GET SERIOUS! BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!
