White wolves...

Ordinarily I'd say this was brought on by working (or at least thinking about) some artwork I've promised to Luperion. But I don't think it was.
I woke early this morning to a dream of wolves. An odd one. I was in some sort of resort or hotel place, and people were staring out the window at a coastal scene. Certainly an ocean shore, rocky, craggy, with precipices and an occasional wave that sprayed high into the air. Beautiful but not inviting, particularly.
As I watched, I realized that there was movement out on a rocky promontory, and it resolved into a large number, perhaps as many as 20, of white wolves. Most of them were staring out to sea, many lying on the rock as if keeping vigil for something. Some would occasionally move about, trading places, but there was no real competition or squabbling it seemed. One or two seemed aware of me, as they would occasionally turn and stare right at me.
When I say "white" I don't mean albino white, but only that the wolves were much lighter in coloration than the ones I have seen at Wolf Park or in zoos. Pale grays, misty, they almost merged into the environment and the sea foam. I'm not sure whether the other people gathered around that window (there were many) even saw them.
Wolf has not been a frequent visitor for me. I know Bear, Cougar, and Elk far better. If this was any kind of message, I'm not sure what it was. They were strikingly beautiful, though. Mysterious, distant, intent on something, but very much aware of me.

Just be careful when coyotes come visiting...

yeah... Coyotes are the prodigal sons of lupine kindred! But - even the prodigal son gets the father's love in the end. That's what is meant by Grace.
