Nah, it would be a great name for a child. There are a lot of vacation packages that one can bring one's children on, but of course it costs money to bring those children. If one were to fill "n/a" into the "People at child rates" section of the forms, it will be entered as no child and one would not be charged, but of course the child would get to come, and you filled out the form properly didn't you?
kistaro is entirely correct, of course. But what if it meant "none of the above?" Actually, I have no intention of having any children. There are too many human children being born without any assistance from me.
I wasn't suggesting you intentionally breed any. You don't think you'd get a chance to name one you would adopt (if you had the resources and the chance)?
There are lots of horse babies in the world who need love and care.
I couldn't possibly name one until I had seen him or her, though. The babies who get rescued from PMU farms usually do have names already, by the way. :)
It was special all right. I was specially glad when I got rid of it and replaced it with a Volkswagen.
One of my most vivid driving memories of all time is driving down a city street in a snowstorm and suddenly a cloud of choking smoke begins to pour out of the steering wheel. Then all the lights go out and won't go back on. The snow had gotten into the headlight wiring of the Opel, and caused a short circuit which in turn burned out the headlight controls (no fusible link or fuse in the circuit) in the steering column. I think it cost me more to fix that than I had paid for the vehicle.
I had three Volkswagen beetles after that. All of them were far superior to the Opel. ;)
Rescue more horses - that's a noble goal. One of my favorite books "The Wolf, The Woman, and the Wilderness" was written by a woman that rescues horses and wolves. Here's a link to her site:
Thanks for the link. If I could, I would buy up thousands of acres somewhere and fill them with rescue horses. Saving Mustangs is important, but there are lots of folks working at it. I'm more worried about all those unwanted foals that are produced up in Canada in order to collect hormones from their mothers. Many of them end up as freezer meat bound for Japan. Ugh.
