Well, I hear that Punxsatawny Phil saw his shadow yesterday. Bad news?

Maybe not. Woodstock Willie, the local groundhog here, definitely did not see his shadow. The light was bright enough at dawn, but heavy overcast prevented anything from casting a shadow. And the temperature today is going up to 40F (about 4C) too.

We have yet to have "real" winter weather here at all. I think we're the only part of the country that hasn't had any "real" winter weather considering I heard there was snow in Florida and I know Houston and Nawlahns both got -feet- of snow ... but not us up here, up north in Washington, no sir.
