Your Brain is 66.67% Female, 33.33% Male

Your brain leans female

You think with your heart, not your head

Sweet and considerate, you are a giver

But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

Any comments (rude or not)?

I have a rude comment about the quiz itself... Stereotypes suck! Take me, for instance. My stereo can't type at all and I'm just fine with it! ;)

But seriously, this test is in my opinion in poor taste as it exploits the "gender traditions" of the US.

Yes, in a sense you're right.

But, if you think of it as yin and yang then how do you feel about it? It's a pretty crude assessment still, and makes some assumptions that are culturally biased, I agree. But the result in my case is most likely about right.

I came to terms with this long ago, I'm pleased with it, and I wouldn't want to be "more male" in the way this quiz would interpret it. Interestingly, of my friends who have shown their results so far, not one has tipped the other way in the balance. I suspect I would actively dislike someone who came out with the reverse of my score. ;)

Er... Well... I came out 72.something percent male... I don't even consider myself all that macho, but that's just the way I am, kinda hard edge. But still, I find the dest insulting because of how it tried to portray both sex's "stereotypes."

Then again, maybe we're both getting just a little too deep here... I mean, it's a blogthings meme quiz. :D

Is any other result possible? It's the one the person I first saw the meme from got, and the second person, and myself...

I've seen results ranging from 60% female to 75% female. Yes, other results must be possible, but not likely among my friends I think. ;)

*chuckle* Awww, you're just in touch with your feminine side... or touching your... never mind. Mine came up with 60% female and 40 male, what it should be for a lady like me. Of course, I am a bit of a tomboy.

And you made a sweet stallion because of it. :)

Yep, I'm definitely in touch with the 'feminine' elements though I think I'm a bit more balanced than this suggests.

Ya know, we should find a way to bring the herd back. I enjoyed playing Phantom. Even if its in a LJ forum, or the mush you got on your machine.

I do have a complete copy of ShadowLands. I meant to back up Seminole as well, but I don't think I ever did. I should doublecheck that. Actually, I could rebuild most of it based on my logs.

Lysandra did offer to host a MU* for us if we really thought it would be used. She, Moonleg, and I discussed it a bit but we never went anywhere with the idea. Though I can run my tinymush here, I don't have a full time connection so it isn't practical except for an occasional planned event.

If you use IRC, you can catch me and Calydor sometimes on irc.furnet.info 6667 using the #ponyplay channel.

Sadly, IRC doesn't work over my network, but I can also offer a full timeserver for the game if you'd like. The low traffic wouldn't be problem for us.

I'll keep that possibility in mind. It's tinymush 2.x which I don't think has much in the way of major overheads, and the database isn't really that large. But I have no idea how much actual participation there would be vs. the effort needed to get it set up and running again. (Or the possibility of a certain individual starting a big war against us for "stealing" her concept... even though she has killed it herself.)

I wouldn't worry about Puma now. She's far to busy with RL and tryng to thnk of a new game, Besides, I think she's going to cose down Spirits anyway.

I'd just like a place for Phantom to live. I really like his character alot.

OK, finally got around to checking this. It is still functional here. I have it on tinymush 3.0. It needs some work to make it really usable (policy and news files, new character creation, some addon commands everyone was used to like the borgcomm enhancement) but I can do those.

I would make it a lot looser than it originally was, rather than locking so many player attributes so that only a wiz could change them. I don't care if folks want to change sex or species in midstream, for instance, though obviously this does confuse any ongoing RP arrangements. :) I'd rather set guidelines for species than enforce a species list the way Puma did. I'm of two minds about unicorns, dragons, and pegasoi, though. What do you think? And should it allow human (presumably Native American) characters or be strictly furry?

What is your server environment? I have tinymush running on Slackware Linux 9.1 here. We'd probably have to recompile the binaries to fit your operating system, but I think the databases can just be copied in from here. E-mail me directly if you want to discuss this more. :)

Well, we can discuss this in Cat's Haven. I'm there just about every evening, just set dark so I can focus on RPs and homework. Send a page my way when you get a chance, then I'll send a puppet over to go over the details. As of nw, we're running SUSE Linux, but may switch to Mandrake one the beta is approved.

Your Brain is 60.00% Female, 40.00% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female

You are both sensitive and savvy

Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed

But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

I actually think I'm more like 50/50. My last boyfriend ran a full, long astrological birth chart on me that had me at 50% male, 50% female -- and that's how I've felt my life. I do not feel masculine, but I don't feel feminine either. I tend to be an emotional person who likes emotional stories, but I also like technical stuff. I'm not into sports, but I'm not into fashion, either.

Interesting that you should mention astrology, which I also think gives better insights into some of this (no, not the newspaper horoscope, folks, but real birth charts and composites.)

Mine is interesting. The planets are spread across the night sky in pairs, every one is a loose conjunction. Most of the pairs are one 'masculine' with one 'feminine'. The only one that is high in the daytime sky is Uranus, a sure sign of an eccentric who 'goes against the flow'.
