| Bourbon Congratulations! You're 109 proof, with specific scores in beer (40) , wine (133), and liquor (86). |
| Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties. |

Date: 2005-03-16 07:01 am (UTC)Congratulations! You're 81 proof, with specific scores in beer (20) , wine (33), and liquor (34).
Bring on the mixers! Take something strong, add something without any
alcohol and you got yourself a Cuba Libre, a Presbyterian, a Greyhound
or a Whiskey Sour. You like your drinks strong, but with the flavors of
your favorite colas or juices. You're willing to try something new,
just so long as it doesn't give you a headache.
The test is obviously skewed. I don't know squat about the drinks. It says I am at like 80 at just about anything ... all I know about beer is that it all tastes bitter and I won't drink it. All I know about wine is that it all tastes bitter and I won't drink it (yes I've tried "sweet wines" but they didn't taste the slightest bit sweet to me). All I know about harder liquor is I can't stand the burning sensation of alcohol and I won't drink it. I shold have scored below 20 I think. When it did not give me the choice of honestly answering "I don't know," I picked the first choice or another at random. I can't hold my liquor, one shot makes me tipsy and unable to sleep until at least 5 a.m. no matter how hard I try (why a "depressant" makes me stay awake, I dunno ... it just makes me uncomfortable for a long period of time).
I definitely wouldn't put much credence to the test ...
Re: Don't be so sure ...
Date: 2005-03-16 10:52 am (UTC)However, this was a test of knowledge about alcohol. It asked very few questions related to your own consumption. That doesn't correlate to the interpretations they give, of course, which assume that if you know about it, you must consume.
We could compare that to my knowledge of a lot of other practices. I rate high on knowledge, but ask me if I actually do those things. :)
I do drink wine. I am purely an amateur at oenology, but I enjoy it and that was where I scored highest. I am ignorant about beers, and that was where I scored lowest. Within the scope of the test, I think it does all right. The interpretations are, as I said, based on a dubious assumption.
