You scored 92 intelligence, 66 morality, and 57 physical strengenth!

As Death's granddaughter (a long story, which you greatly dislike), you
inherited his ultimate practicality and lack of fear. In fact,
boogeymen and other childhood boggles fear YOU. Often assisted by the
Death of Rats and his raven, you manage to fix the Universe inbetween
working as a governness and educating the masses. The ultimate teacher.

I played fair, even though I was tempted to try to make myself come out as the Librarian. Susan isn't a bad result, though being Granny Weatherwax might be more fun. Or Nanny Ogg, though my personality really isn't suited to her. ;)

Je suis Captain Carrot. Little surprise, actually, though my approach isn't always so simple and I'm nowhere near as shy ;)

I didn't poke around to see what other results that quiz can get, though I suspect it's possible to come out as Death himself, or as Vimes or Vetinari. Ridcully? At least one of the witches (surely Granny Weatherwax or Nanny Ogg) and maybe a vampire like Otto, and there were hints that an assassin outcome is possible too (but wasn't Vetinari a member of the Assassins, if it comes down to that?) To me you seem almost practical enough and certainly caring enough to be an Igor. :) After reading Monstrous Regiment I really developed a serious respect for Igorina.

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Thud! which is due from the bookclub any day now...

I considered poking around but didn't really have the time. Besides, Captain Carrot isn't a bad outcome in my opinion.

An Igor, eh? Upon a moment's thought that makes a certain degree of sense, and is certainly complimentary. I happen to be reading Monstrous Regiment right now, and I share your respect for Igorina :)

The person I'm farthest from is Vetinari, I think. He's scary.

Yes, scary. I did not like Vetinari and I'm still not sure I do, but I've come to have a tremendous respect for his acumen and abilities. He demonstrated them especially in Going Postal I thought. ;)

No, you're not like Vetinari. In fact, I think you're downright cuddly, a word I would never apply to him. Carrot is certainly worthy of respect and no one is more honest or loyal, but really, he's kind of a bureaucratic stick when you come down to it. How about William de Worde? He might suit you fairly well if you aren't handy enough with a needle to be an Igor. Or there's always that irritating talking canine, Gaspode...

Hee! Cuddly! *offers you cuddles at the very first opporunity*

Carrot's respectability is laudable but yes, he's a bit of a stick, as you say. On further thought I think I'd rather be Angua. I have an appreciation for her struggles for acceptance and her down-to-earth attitude.

William de Worde is interesting, but too wrapped up in his reporting to exercise as much compassion as I'd prefer. Gaspode is also an interesting choice, but a little more "street level" and perhaps a bit too interested in looking out for number one. Nanny Ogg might not be too far off, either, though I can't match up to her cooking ;)

I like Lu Tze the Sweeper, too. I can only hope to be half so wise!

Lu Tze! Very good, but we haven't seen nearly enough of him.

I can rival Nanny's cooking, but not her other, uh, appetites. Strawberry wobbler anyone?

*exit singing "A wizard's staff has a knob on the end..."* ;D

Heh. Have you read Thief of Time? Lots of Lu Tze action :)

Funny you should put it that way about Mrs. Ogg - I might have said it the other way around ;) Wobbly knees for afters, anyone?

*scampers off, singing "An assassin knows how to use his blade...."

(Don't know if that's officially part of it, but it's what came to mind.)

What's the one about "You can't bugger a hedgehog..."?

Yeah, Thief of Time is one of my favorites, along with Small Gods, Soul Music, and Going Postal. We just got Thud! this week, and my mate is reading it and breaking out in laughter frequently.

Oh, and with respect to Monstrous Regiment, if you like audiobooks, the Harper audio edition of that, performed (not just read) by Stephen Briggs was marvelous. He gives voice and accent to all the characters extremely well, and I especially enjoyed his Igorina (with lisp of course) and his vampires.

Took it twice, both times with answers I consider valid, though not identical, for myself. According to the test I'm either Susan Sto Helit or Captain (misspelled as Captian - I'm not sure if that's intentional or not) Carrot. I wasn't expecting either of those. Then again, I'm not sure who I was expecting.

Bad spelling seems to be endemic to these quiz things. On the other hand, it seems to me that somewhere in one of the books Carrot left a note for Vimes and signed it that way. Spelling is not one of his strong points either.
