Whoa!

Ever notice how any posting from one of the LJ honchos immediately seems to develop several hundred responses? I dropped a tiny suggestion into the queue, and when you do that it gets posted to suggestions automatically. Then people start commenting on it and your mailbox fills up with notifications. Ugh. I don't really care what anyone thinks of my suggestion. If it gets implemented, fine, and if it doesn't, well shrug. But there's no way to turn off the notifications unless I turn them all off and I sure don't want to do that. Guess I'll have to go look and see if I can edit the suggestion posting to turn off notification...but I suspect I can't since it's moderated. And they didn't offer the option when I posted it.

That would mean making another suggestion... I don't think I'm game for that...

Edit: By going to suggestions I was able to edit the posting and change the comment option to "Don't e-mail". Thank goodness. I'd suggest that they put that choice into the suggestion form itself to save the trip, but I don't think I want to make another suggestion just now. I'm still deleting e-mail. XD

I saw that post on constantia's f-list - she does a lot of support and such - and thought, cool, the same people show up on our friends lists. And the suggestion is good.
