From [livejournal.com profile] farhoug and [livejournal.com profile] corelog:

Geordi La Forge
You scored 11 Physically Able, 25 Mentally Able, and 23 Morally Good! (30 is max)
You're Geordi!

Physically: Low

Mentally: High

Morally: High

Geordi is the engineer and is known for being very compassionate and
caring. He's not afraid to break the rules if it's what's ultimately
right. Geordi also has the advantage of being a scientific genius.

Well, like Geordi, you've never been known to take a punch very
well, but you don't often have to. Your giving nature and natural
intelligence makes you a popular person with all the non-crazy ones out
there. You're known for using your knowledge to help those around you
and care deeply about what is going on in the world. You love life and
are an optimist. Hey, you've got a lot going for you. Cool!

The character most unlike you is: Skin of Evil

*snicker*

Someone once described a fantasy STNG scene to me. Wesley Crusher and Commander Riker are working on some problem in an airlock. Unbeknown to them, Mrs. Troi (Deanna's mother) walks down the corridor and sees the open lock door. She promptly closes it and in doing so, cycles the airlock, ejecting the two men into space, then walks off muttering to herself about "People must have been born in a barn. Don't they knwo a ship should be kept ship shape, with every hatch battened down?"

I've never understood the mass loathing of Wesley Crusher. :/ I actually liked the character.

I think it's because he was so unremittingly perfect. They tried to make a stereotypical teen of him but not really.

Wesley had issues. He was bright and intelligent, and did work hard at trying to be good at everything and trying to prove himself, but when he met resistance at the hands of the man who brought his father's body home to him he felt frustrated. His whole childhood he seemed to spend trying to learn how to become the perfect Starfleet chasing his father's ghost, and it never occurred to him until he nearly completed the Academy that maybe there is a life for him outside of Starfleet.

I don't see that as constituting unremittingly perfection. He's as flawed as anyone, and I think it was a statement that you can behave nearly perfectly and still have major flaws.

But maybe its just that I am that sort of geek ... clumsy, awkward, and, yes, abrasive and arrogant.

Do you at all find it ironic and amusing that one of the questions on the test asked about the correct You're / your use and yet their text of your results used the incorrect version? (Not to mention the "Georgi"!)

Just tells you that the quiz writer wasn't Geordi, doesn't it? I fixed the results now, something I frequently do with these.

I noticed another mistake somewhere in the quiz itself, but I've forgotten what it was.
