Date: 2005-10-15 06:25 pm (UTC)Someone once described a fantasy STNG scene to me. Wesley Crusher and Commander Riker are working on some problem in an airlock. Unbeknown to them, Mrs. Troi (Deanna's mother) walks down the corridor and sees the open lock door. She promptly closes it and in doing so, cycles the airlock, ejecting the two men into space, then walks off muttering to herself about "People must have been born in a barn. Don't they knwo a ship should be kept ship shape, with every hatch battened down?"

But maybe its just that I am that sort of geek ... clumsy, awkward, and, yes, abrasive and arrogant.
