OK, that's adequate progress for one day. To reach 50,000 words in 30 days, one must write at least 1667 words on the average every day. That's somewhere around four or five printed pages. Today's tally, in just over two hours' work: 1947 words, most of a chapter.

Thanks. :) There's a little bit before that, and a lot after it now. I may end up rearranging the sequence in which things are unfolded, but as presently planned, the story is framed in the era you just saw and told in flashbacks. You're the first to see and actually compliment my fiction writing in a long time. *hugs*
