	View from the back deck 21 January 2006 08:00 What greeted us at dawn. We've seen deeper snow, but none that fell faster.
	RikkiToo lazes indoors 21 January 2006 08:00 He went out during the storm, but came back almost immediately and has been inside ever since.
	Moon over trees (and disused antenna) 21 January 2006 08:00 Last quarter for January. Even the treetops were full of snow. There was very little wind with the snowfall.
	Pasture gates 21 January 2006 08:00 The view looking north. Property line is at the row of trees in the distance, and beyond that the open field is soon to be ruined by yet another subdivision.
	Sheep in the snow 21 January 2006 08:00 Eager to get out of the barn, they don't object to the snow at all. Food is more important than anything, except maybe a sheepdog...maybe.
	Breakfast al fresco 21 January 2006 08:00 Asher and Archie chow down, unbothered by the deep snow.
	Over the paddock fence 21 January 2006 08:00 The view southwest from the little horsebarn door. The sun was just coming up.
	Oaks and spruce 21 January 2006 08:00 The burr and white oaks are native, probably second growth. The spruce trees, out of place, were planted there by someone trying to "landscape" undoubtedly.

Aww, purdy! Here in NH, them temps have been having in the mid-50s (F). This winter has been /strange/....

Yeah, it is pretty. The snow is powdery and fluffy. Would be great for skiing except it's supposed to get above freezing by tomorrow so it will all turn to frozen slush soon. Outdoor temp now is about 20 F.

Visits can be arranged. Unless you are really into winter weather, I recommend autumn for the best scenery (and the best fruits and vegetables.)
