You prefer Romantic sex!

You like romantic sex. For you, it's not all too much about being horny - it's more an expression of how you feel about your partner(s). It's an experience that you can share -- that you can experience and enjoy together.

For me, no surprise either: passionate sex!

(Though I think that (1) passionate should overlap romantic on the map and (2) the map you were given has a star on casual even though your result was romantic. Sloppy! :)

That happens with all of the quizzes with this type of map that I've ever taken. I get one result, but the star shows up somewhere else when I post it...

At least I know it's not just me that sees that now.

Must have to do with browser incompatibilities. It is in the right place for me. I'm using Firefox 1.5. I'll go look at it from Internet Explorer when I get a chance and see what happens.

Confirmed. Internet Explorer shows the star in the wrong place. How interesting. Firefox, Mozilla, and Epiphany all show it in the right place.

Very Odd... You'd think IE would be compatible as much as microsoft swears it's the best :P

Yes, passionate and romantic blur into each other.

Funny, though, when I look at it the star is almost at the center of the "romantic" quadrant.

Huh. I usually use IE at home because I find it easy to deal with, though we do have Firefox, which my sweetie prefers but I find a little odd in the way it deals with some page imaging. Not bad, just odd.

Perhaps it would be worth getting used to if it means getting the star put in the right spot ;)

Not unless LJ memes are more important to you than other things. I prefer Firefox because it seems faster and doesn't have as many security issues as IE or at least seems not to. Of course, running all Linux as I do at home, IE is not a choice anyway. I had to go to the mate's computer to look at that with IE. He prefers Firefox also, and I had to hunt to find his IE, but since he runs Windows XP, it was still there. I don't think Microsoft lets you get rid of it.

Well, I can't exactly say that LJ memes are important really, but I wonder if that off-center star on that particular meme is indicative that I might have been seeing other things not as intended.

Of course, it might just be sloppy programming on the creator's part, and there's nothing I can do about that except perhaps let them know :)

I've heard others say they couldn't keep IE off their computers. I think that's a little obnoxious, personally, and adds another reason to use Firefox: stick it to the man! (Or something....)

It's true. If you run Windows, you cannot eliminate IE. Microsoft has integrated it into the OS in such a way that it can't be completely removed. The most you can do is take the icons and short cuts away so it is hard to launch voluntarily, and switch it off from being the "default browser."

But just as an example, in order to get the security patches that are constantly being issued for Windows, you must have IE installed. Windows Update cannot run without it. This has been true all the way back to Windows 98.

As for web sites and suchlike that demand that I be using IE in order to view them, I just figure fine, they don't need me and I don't need them.

Oh, another irritating truth about Microsoft and IE:

Back when it was still optional (Windows 95, Windows 98) you really could remove IE completely from the system. But any time you installed a Microsoft product of any sort, and often anything from one of their "partners" as well, you would find that IE and OE had both been reinstalled on your system. They didn't ask if you wanted them, they just forced them back on you if you had removed them. They would also reset your default browser choice in the registry. So if you had Netscape or Opera or something else installed and preferred it, you'd have to reset that choice again, and once more uninstall the Microsoft products you never wanted in the first place.

Of course, savvy computer users recognized this and took care of it when necessary. But MS was after the mom and pop type users who bought home computers and had no real idea what they were doing or how to change configuration settings. They were forcing their browser and e-mail program into place in preference over anything else that may have been installed. I've talked to any number of people who didn't understand (or sometimes, didn't even notice) what had been done to their PC, and simply continued to use it with Microsoft's changes. "Oh, yeah I guess it switched me over sometime, but I don't know how to fix it back the other way."

It's that last line that has made the most headway for Microsoft, I think. People on average are getting more tech savvy. but even so, most are not up to the level of having any idea how or why to pay attention to that sort of thing, let alone fix it.

On a more cheerful note: LOVE! It's what's for dinner :)

Same result I get, but I refuse to post it because the star always ends up in the wrong part...

LOL. You didn't need to take the quiz. I could've told you your results. That was easy. (Mine too, as far as that goes.)

*chuckles* Yeah, i knew what I'd get as well... But sometimes you just have to take them to see if the thing is accurate ^^

Er ??? :)

You prefer Passionate sex!

You enjoy passionate sex. You're the kind of person that has tons of fun in the sack, and you can really get into it. Not necessarily rough and lusty, passionate sex is the kind that satisfies both your lovin' and horny needs.

No surprise there. Even I know enough to see how you'd come out there or "spontaneous". :)
