Getting things done
Oct. 31st, 2010 09:17 pmLots of small things done today, aside from the usual chores.
One obstacle remains to be overcome. I turned on my little Tandy word processor to find that it's in the middle of a Forth program. Yes, I was playing with a Forth interpreter on it some months back. Now I don't remember how to get out of it. I suppose I can take the batteries out of the machine and then put them back later. That should do it.
Moved various pieces retrieved from the gallery yesterday along on their way home. Read some background material on the life of Richard I to prepare for NaNo, though I don't feel particularly prepared at the moment.
Tess went out again today and behaved in a very ladylike manner about the whole thing. Either she's getting old or she's finally learning the rules. ;p Probably both.
Gary went into Chicago for the Dark Morris and isn't back yet.
Oh, and a couple of anonymous people have actually donated to The Office of Letters and Light in support of my NaNo effort. Whoever you are, I thank you and will keep the progress links visible here.
