What I did not do today

I didn't watch any Super Bowl stuff, not even the Puppy Bowl. The latter might tempt me but we have no access to it anyway.

I didn't edit the spinning guild newsletter, which I really should have done.

I didn't do my barn chores early, because it was snowing at the inch per hour rate then.

I didn't take a nap, though I wanted to.

I didn't weave, though I should have.

I did do some stuff, of course. I made supper (pasta casserole with zucchini and home made Italian sausage bits) and dessert (old fashioned gingerbread with applesauce.) I got some reading done. I ran a load of laundry through. I submitted a portfolio of writing samples in order to be considered for the role of contributing writer to the Tai-Pan Project.

Snow was coming down hard this morning. In all, by noon I think we accumulated nearly four inches of new powder on top of the blizzard leavings from Wednesday last week. Now we're heading into another round of frigid air, as we usually get after a snowstorm.

Tomorrow is Red's last day of basic obedience class. Wednesday will be his first day of beginning agility training.
