From [livejournal.com profile] vakkotaur, whom I jokingly accused of cheating, but look what I got:

You Are a Pegasus

You are a perfectionist, with an eye for beauty.
You know how to live a good life - and you rarely deviate from your good taste.
While you aren't outgoing, you have excellent social skills.
People both admire you - and feel very comfortable around you.

Scout's honor! (Remember him, he was Tonto's horse?) I didn't cheat either. One time through, no second-guessing.

Bonus weather report: 90F, 72% humidity, sunny, with a severe thunderstorm watch...

99F (Heat index of 102F) and 33% humidity. We got you beat on the temp but you can keep that humidity level. :P

Yes, with our typical humidity, a 99F temp becomes a heat index of 115 or 120. Chicago has been under a dangerous heat warning for days. It's not quite so bad out here away from all that concrete, though.

There's a front due to pass through this evening that will drop temperatures by ten degrees or so for several days.

*tilts his head to one side and gives you a curious look* What's a cold front and what is this about a ten degree drop? Heh. If...and I mean if a cold front manages to pass over us we might drop a few degrees and get a more northerly wind but our weather generally stays the same this time of year. Hot, dry and south winds. Little to no humidity does make it somewhat easier to deal with. I just wish it would rain but there again we only average about 2" a month this time of year.

Well, typically we don't get much rain this time of year either. It keeps dribbling this year, not a lot, just enough to raise the humidity. Normally by August we are hot and dry.

Cold front can drop temperatures as much as 25-30 degrees, but usually it doesn't last more than a couple of days. That's not an instantaneous drop, it takes 12-24 hours to happen, and about as long again to rise back up.

Of course that much drop up a mile or more with this humidity means rain, and sometimes hail and thunder and more.
