Another long day
Oct. 5th, 2006 10:50 pmWork this morning until noon, rush home, prepare tags and signage for the gallery, pack portable spinning wheel and dash to the gallery in Woodstock to act as gallery sitter for the afternoon. Most of the three hours taken up by a very chatty visitor who seemed partly to want to impress me with how much she knew and who she knew in fiber work. OK, so that's what I'm there for if that's what they want. I did get some spinning done, at least.
Close gallery, rush back home to take care of horses and sheep, since Gary is in Chicago as usual for Thursday. Clean barns, feed everyone, bed them down, feed dogs, feed myself, edit this month's guild newsletter, update the RSS link and send out e-mails to members reminding them that it's ready and that they should attend the gallery reception on Sunday.
I think I'm overdone. Time for bed.

Re: Have a sneaky snooze
Date: 2006-10-06 11:15 am (UTC)I dunno. I think most people, at least in America, would say my life is exceedingly boring and dull. No television? Unthinkable. ;P
A Happy Friday to you
Date: 2006-10-06 12:32 pm (UTC)I turned the TV off about thirty years ago and have never looked back. I do like films especially when knitting.
