Moving along
Nov. 3rd, 2006 10:30 pmWe hope to get hay delivered this weekend, which means sore hands but we'll finally be ready for winter. One more load will be enough to last through May, two will last until August which is ideal. Getting new hay early in spring can be quite costly and difficult here.
Finally finished up the work on the donated spinning wheel, so I can take it over to Toni's tomorrow morning. The buyer wants to pick it up there in the afternoon. I may not be around, since two people have been out with the flu at work, and I'm likely to have to go in to cover some hours. I thought I was already stuck when the boss called shortly after I got home, but she only had a question about washing wool before carding it. I had to laugh. The first thing she said when I picked up the phone was "No, I'm not calling because I need you tomorrow." Still, I expect the call in the morning. Ick. I needed this weekend for fursuit work and Nanowrimo.
Speaking of the latter, Here's the next installment for anyone who wants to follow along. Still running a day behind on word count, but I hope to catch up and get ahead this weekend.
Eyelids getting too heavy, must follow Jake and Daisy to bed.
