There. You were right. How much more can you guess?

Hehe, I think my divine inspiration's up after the first guess. :) Yay horse-not-horse!

And on a slightly more coherent note, I really, really liked how you handled the other quad there. It definitely said 'animal' to me, not 'Disney'.

You're right, I did put some thought into exactly that goal.

The pegasus is different, and you'll learn why eventually.

"The creature he saw in the clearing beyond the blackberry brambles was something he’d never seen before, even in a book, and never imagined either. It was large and quad, with a gold colored coat that seemed dull in the fading light and through the falling flakes, but might be quite bright in the sunlight. It was equine, he was sure of that, because it had large and elegantly formed hooves, a great arched neck and flowing white mane that reached almost to its knees. A heavy tail to match trailed all the way to the ground from massive hindquarters, and its face, though turned away from them and apparently scenting at the wind itself, was definitely horselike in shape."

I like how the story is progressing, and these descs are just
gold. ^.^

I wanted to do "Kalidescope" as a Nano but I just can't bring
myself to be half awake and doing half awake tripe.

Still, it gets the juices flowing dunnit?

^.^

It does, but finding time to work at this breakneck pace is killing me. Glad you're liking it. I admit that I'm seeing some scenes as cinematography, which is definitely NOT the way I usually think while writing. If it were actually going to be film, I'd want classical animation, not CGI stuff like Narnia. Which means, of course, that it would never happen. ;p

Oh well, I'm having fun spinning this one out.
