It's National Novel Writing Month, an event in which participants attempt to write a complete novel of at least 50,000 words in 30 days. It always starts on November 1 and ends at midnight on November 30 of the writer's local time.

Last year I quit half way through, but this year I intend to finish. As you can see, I'm well past the half way mark now.
