Progress, or maybe not...

It feels very strange to be able to get to the bookshelves, the looms, and the organ again.

Wait, where did all that stuff that was in the way go? Oh, yeah, it's out in the garage now and you can't get in there. Oh well...

I think that's the real purpose of garages anyways, handy storage space where no one can fit in. =)

Seems that way. In our last house we had a huge garage (3 cars worth) and a huge basement. Here the house and garage are small, but we have two barns. Barns are very dusty though and subject to temperature extremes, not to mention mice.

Or evening the legs on a table by sawing off bits, yes. Something like that.

Especially when it comes to books, which multiply in dark closets or something when you aren't looking.
