Still snowing
Jan. 15th, 2007 08:17 pmHeh. It was supposed to stop by noon but it's still coming down here. The rate of fall is very slow, so in 24 hours we've only accumulated about 2 to 3 inches. The temperature has been falling so now it's that fluffy stuff that blows around in the slightest of breezes. Very pretty. I don't have to go anywhere, so I don't mind.
I'm listening to a CD lent by a friend. The performer is Chris Norman, who plays the wooden Irish style flute really well. I hadn't heard of him before, but after listening to this I rushed to order it and another of his recordings. Highly recommended by me. :)

Date: 2007-01-17 01:51 am (UTC)It really is too cold to play out there tonight. We are having the typical snowstorm aftermath: a high pressure center, brilliant clear skies, and falling temperatures. Headed for -3°F./-20°C. tonight they say.
Have you seen the comet yet? You guys are supposed to have the good view now. We missed it here due to the clouds and snow. The only way to see it here now is in the daytime by looking at just the right spot with binoculars. I may try that tomorrow as it is supposed to be clear.
